2019 NBA Free Agency Tracker

Updated: Jul 16, 2019

The 2019 NBA free agency period got off to a blistering start on Sunday, with the news of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant signing with the Brooklyn Nets dropping before the 6pm eastern time official beginning.

As expected, Kemba Walker is going to be a Celtic, and Terry Rozier will head to the Queen City as Walker's replacement. D'Angelo Russell and Jimmy Butler, two all-stars, are also on the move in sign and trade deals. Al Horford, a defensive anchor for the Boston Celtics, is on his way to the Philadelphia 76ers. Those are just a few of the big names that have moved since the start of free agency less than 48 hours ago.

The biggest domino, Kawhi Leonard, has yet to fall. There has been rampant speculation about where Leonard will sign, with conflicting reports and sources indicating different things. Reportedly, the Raptors will get the last meeting with Leonard in an effort to get him to stay in Toronto. Either way, Leonard's decision will have a massive impact on the league, as he basically has everyone on their toes at the moment. If he stays in Toronto, he puts them in position to repeat. If he heads to the Los Angeles Clippers, he makes them an instant legitimate contender, and if he goes to the Lakers, he is the last piece that forms the NBA's next super power.
