Big 3 Announces 2020 Schedule

Headed for its fourth season, Ice Cube's Big 3 has announced its schedule for the 2020 summer. Familiar cities like Detroit and Miami are back, while the league will make first time stops in Memphis and Portland. Below is the full list (source Big 3 twitter):


June 20 - FedEx Forum, Memphis, TN

June 27 - New York, NY, venue TBA

July 11 - Capital One Arena, Washington, DC

July 18 - Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

July 25 - XL Center, Hartford, CT

August 1 - Golden One Center, Sacramento, CA

August 8 - American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL

August 15 - United Center, Chicago, IL


Playoffs


August 22 - Moda Center, Portland, OR

August 29 (Championship): Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI


Last summer, the league opened up in Detroit, and will now have the Finals there this year after previous Finals in Los Angeles and Brooklyn. The league also returns to Chicago, but this time will be at the United Center, versus Allstate Arena, outside of the city in Rosemont, last year. Additionally, the league makes another stop in a smaller city, with Hartford, CT. Previously, the Big 3 made stops in Providence, RI and Louisville, KY. Gilbert Arenas will also makes his return to the DC area, where he starred for the Wizards from 2003-2010, and was a three-time All-Star from 2005 to 2007.


The league has also announced its combine, open tryout and draft dates. Open tryouts and the league combine will take place May 15-17 in Los Angeles, and are open to athletes as young as 22. No professional experience is required. The draft will take place May 17 (via Big 3 twitter).
