Personnel moves continued in the Big 3 on Tuesday, with a pair of moves.

After trading Qyntel Woods for Sam Young and releasing Young, the Ball Hogs have added Big 3 veteran Xavier Silas to their roster.

Silas, 31, was drafted 4th overall in the inaugural Big 3 draft in 2017 by Tri-State. He also played for the Ball Hogs that year after he was traded for Dominic McGuire. Undrafted in 2011, Silas played parts of two seasons in the NBA - for the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics - in 2012 and 2018. He has also played for the Maine Red Claws, Iowa Wolves, and the Bakersfield Jam/Northern Arizona Suns of the NBA G League. In the 2011-2012 NBA season with the 76ers, he averaged 5.5 points in 19.5 minutes per game. His most recent NBA stint was a 10-day contract signed on March 27, 2018 with the Celtics.

He is the son of two-time ABA All-Star James Silas.

Another move that happened Tuesday was the addition of forward Al Thornton by the 3 Headed Monsters. The 35 year old Thornton played in 2017 for 3s Company and spent some time also with Trilogy. Thornton was drafted in 2007, out of Florida State, by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 14th pick in the 1st round. He spent six seasons in the NBA, with the Clippers, Washington Wizards, and Golden State Warriors. In 2008-2009, he averaged 16.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He has played overseas in Puerto Rico, China, Japan, and the Philippines.

Thornton's new team will play the Triplets on Sunday in Milwaukee.
