Just one day after he was let go by the Ghost Ballers, Carlos Boozer has found a new home in the Big 3, as today it was announced, via the Big 3's twitter account @thebig3, that Power have added Boozer to their roster. With Boozer's addition, the team has waived Mychel Thompson.
Boozer is a solid pick up for the defending champion Power. With Chris Andersen's recent ACL injury, Power was in need of another big man. Boozer gives them that - a player to go along with Glen Davis that can hit the jumper as well as play physical. He doesn't have the size or athleticism that Andersen had, but is a better shooter and a bigger body bulk wise. He is yet another scoring threat for the 4-1 Power - alongside reigning league Most Valuable Player Corey Maggette and Cuttino Mobley - and will compliment Davis well as he can play more of a mid-range game while Davis works inside.
Thompson, who was waived, had averaged 3.8 points per game for Power while appearing in all five games.
