With the 2020 Big 3 season just about four months away, rosters are beginning to take shape. Earlier this week, it was announced that last season's MVP, Joe Johnson, will be returning to the Triplets. Two more moves have been made this week, per Big 3 twitter.
Marreese Speights, 32-year-old former first round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2008, will join Bivouac as a co-captain. Speights will join Will Bynum as a co-captain alongside captain Josh Smith. Reggie Theus also will be back as head coach. The 6'10 Speights played 11 seasons in the NBA, and was most recently a member of the Orlando Magic for the 2017-2018 season. He last played for the Guangzhou Long Lions. Speights gives Bivouac size, who last year played with Shawne Williams, a slender forward, as their big man.
The other move made has been Royce White going from the Enemies to Power. With Corey Maggette having retired, White will take on the role of co-captain, with Cuttino Mobley being named Power captain. White gives Power a guy who can handle the ball and play the post, who along with Glen Davis will provide teams with a challenge on the interior.
