As the Big 3 prepares for Week 7 in Chicago and Milwaukee this weekend, teams continued to make moves as the playoffs are we are 26 days from the playoffs in New Orleans.
Trilogy, after trading for Qyntel Woods earlier in the week, released Patrick O'Bryant Wednesday, replacing him with fellow big Samardo Samuels. Samuels, 30, has most recently played for Limoges CSP in France's A League, LNB Pro A.
The 6'9 University of Louisville product went undrafted in 2010 and played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010-2013, averaging 5.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 15.9 minutes.
The Ball Hogs, who released Sam Young yesterday after acquiring him in the Woods deal, released former New Jersey Net Marcus Williams, and added 30 year old guard Mustapha Farrakhan. The 6'4 Harvey, Illinois native has spent six seasons as a professional after he went undrafted in 2011, and has played five of those six seasons in the G League. His lone overseas season was spent with the Melbourne Tigers of Australia's NBL, and most recently, he played for the G League's Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 8.5 points.
