Game 1: 3s Company (2-3) vs Killer 3s (4-1)

3s Company - riding their momentum from last week's double digit win over Bivouac - won their second consecutive game and firmly planted their spot in the thick of the playoff hunt with an impressive 51-41 win over the 4-1 Killer 3s.

Andre Emmett - building off of his 23 point, 9 rebound performance last week - was spectacular yet again, scoring 24 points and grabbing a season-high 14 rebounds. Dahntay Jones also provided needed support, with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

The 3s - taking a 26-22 lead into the half - struggled mightily in the second half, as they were outscored 29-15. They were not good offensively, as 37 of their 41 points came from just three players - Donte Green (14), CJ Watson (13), and Stephen Jackson (10). Guard Franklin Session had his worst game of the season, scoring just 2 points.

Company also received solid games from Dijon Thompson (9 points, 4 rebounds), and big man Jason Maxiell (8 points, 4 rebounds). They will look for their third straight victory next Sunday in Milwaukee against the Aliens, and the Killer 3s will look to get back on track next Saturday from Allstate Arena vs Bivouac.

Game 2: Triplets (4-1) vs Ball Hogs (0-5)

The Triplets got off to the start many people expected, taking a 26-14 lead into halftime on the back of Joe Johnson and his 16 points.

The Triplets continued to dominate the game and blew it wide open, eventually taking a 42-20 lead. Alan Anderson ended the game with a three that gave the Triplets the 51-34 victory. It was a great rebound game for them, as they were coming off of their first loss of the season to Power. It also put them at 5-1 and allowed them to keep pace atop the league standings. For the Ball Hogs, their winless season continues as they fall to 0-6.

Johnson finished with 21 points, and Al Jefferson scored 12 and had 7 rebounds. Hog big man Will McDonald led his team with 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Deshawn Stevenson scored 12 points with 6 rebounds.

Improving to 5-1, the Triplets head into Milwaukee next week to face a struggling, 2-3 3 Headed Monsters team. Things will not get any easier for the Ball Hogs, as they will play in the second game in Milwaukee against 3-2 Trilogy.

Game 3: Bivouac (2-3) vs Aliens (2-3)

With Bivouac looking to rebound from a double digit loss last week, and the Aliens looking to win their second straight and get into the playoff hunt, the Salt Lake finale was a pivotal game for both teams.

The Aliens got off to a solid start, taking a 15-11 lead. But Bivouac responded with a flurry, going on a 15-5 run to end the half with a 26-20 lead.

The game would go down to the wire, with Bivouac getting the win 50-47. Once again playing without Will Bynum, Bivouac received another strong effort from Anthony Morrow, who scored 19 points as a follow up to last week's 15. It was Josh Smith's monster game, however, that was the key to Bivouac getting to 3-3. Smith had his best game of the season, with a big double double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. He also had 4 assists and 2 blocks. CJ Leslie added 9 points.

For the Aliens, Shannon Brown - who scored 18 points last week - was held in check, scoring just 4 points. Brandon Rush led them with 23, while Greg Oden had 10 points and 9 rebounds.

The win gives Bivouac a 3-3 record that ties them with 3s Company. Each team has gained an upper hand in the standings, as they wait to see how next week's match up of 2-3 teams Tri-State and Ghost Ballers goes. Bivouac will face a Killer 3s team next week that is coming off of a tough loss tonight.

Dropping to 2-4, the Aliens - though they aren't out of the playoff hunt completely - took a big step back. Their match up against 3s Company next week in Milwaukee is pivotal, as a win would tie them with Company at 3-4.
